You buy an iMac…hard drive goes bust…(come on, it’s hardware with moveable parts)…you can’t go to your local wal-mart and buy an off the shelf hard drive to replace it. You have to go to the local Temple and buy one of their overpriced proprietary hard drive. Way to go apple! Nice way of gouging your cult. Eh, they won’t notice anyway. They’re mindless drones that spew the lord’s (jobs) word and hope to convert non-cultists to their bank draining ways.

(I know this is probably old news, but I think it’s worth reposting)
The grip that Jobs has on the minds of his minions is what legends are made of.
On the day the iPad 2 was to be released, this college girl sells her space in line (1st mind you) for a killer $900!! She did stand there for 2 days though…night and day in the street. So it makes you wonder, is it really worth it? $450/day just for standing and admiring the “beauty” of NYC (quoted from the video).
And then you have to compare… is paying $900 to be the first one to buy technological “magic” (threw up in my mouth there a bit) or taking the $900 proceeds and buying Lady Gaga tickets? I’m not sure which is more insane/inane…you be the judge.

An Apple Technician in Military BootCamp
One of Apple’s finest technicans was drafted and sent to boot camp. At the rifle range, he was given some instruction, a rifle, and bullets. He fired several shots at the target. The report came from the target area that all attempts had completely missed the target.
The technician looked at his rifle, and then at the target. He looked at the rifle again, and then at the target again. He put his finger over the end of the rifle barrel and squeezed the trigger with his other hand. The end of his finger was blown off, whereupon he yelled toward the target area, “It’s leaving here just fine, the trouble must be at your end!”
